Após o match você vai mandar esse documento para o e-mail do seu hosto ou hosta (quem 
vai ser o ser principal chefe) para confirmar e deixar registrado tudo o que vocês conversaram. 
 
Por que fazer isso? Para ter certeza de todas as coisas que vocês conversaram e 
concordaram. Caso a família queira mudar regras, você terá isso como prova do que vocês 
conversaram. Claro que tem exceções, por exemplo… você tem que estar ciente que o 
schedule poderá mudar. Mas não aceite coisas que você não gostaria. Saiba dizer “não”.

At this time the boys are doing online school, so it is very important to have someone to help 
them while the parents are working. The family is living in Florida for a while. They plan to 
come back to NY next year. 
 
About the kids: 
Aqui você vai escrever um pouco sobre a personalidade das crianças, o que elas gostam de 
fazer e alguns aspectos relevantes 
- (nome da kid), the younger one, likes to do (cite algumas coisas que a criança gosta de 
fazer) art and crafts, go to the pool and play on his Ipad. He has ADHD and takes medicine. 
He may need some help with remote school 
- (nome da outra criança) is very active and loves to play sports 
- They usually get along well. 
- They can be a little picky to eat 
- The au pair make their lunch, snacks and dinner. Usually the mom helps them with breakfast, 
but some help can be required in some mornings 
- Both are allergic to peanuts and tree nuts 
- Sometimes the au pair need to drive the kids to activities 
 
Schedule:

Besides some mornings help: 
- Play/feed the kids during their school breaks 
- Stay around to make sure they are not distracted and help if they have any question (I guess 
I can do my own things during this time like read, use the phone, laptop or organize anything 
in my room) 
- Break from 1 to 2:30 p.m - au pair work out 
- After school do things with the boys until 6 or 6:30 p.m 
- Au pair is not required to work on holidays 
- Most weekends off 
- If the parents want to have a date night it would be better to do during the week 
 
Covid precautions:

- The au pair intend to make a friend and both see only each other outside. Always wearing a 
mask and keeping distance 
- Traveling at this time is complicated. The family don’t feel comfortable with the au pair going 
to airports. We will talk about the Alaska trip next year 
- The family and au pair will take the vaccine once is possible and safe 
 
Car: 
Descreva todos os detalhes sobre o carro 
The family has 2 cars in NY. One of those is in FL. They plan to get another one very soon. 
An uber can be considered if both cars are in use. Communication before to use is important 
for both sides. Rules about the car (let’s imagine non covid time): 
- No curfew and can have the car if will have sleepover in a friend’s house 
- No miles limit 
- Family pay the gas, unless the au pair use a lot 
- Family looked ok traveling 3 hours to go to Saint Petersburg for example. I did not ask about 
going to visit other states around NY like PA, NJ, MA and CT. Also I would like to go to some 
places in FL as well, but I think it is a conversation for later because of the covid. 
- Agency requires the host families to include the au pair in their insurance. 
- The au pair can use her Colorado Driver License 
 
Other things:

- Stipend weekly: (valor que a família vai te pagar semanalmente e qualquer acordo se houver) 
- Some extra about house cleaning can be dealt 
- Au pair have access to the gym in FL (we did not talk about NY) 
- Credit card for grocery 
- Phone and sim card for work (internet unlimited) 
- The house doesn't have a camera or alarms. In NY there is a camera in the kitchen. 
- Both parents are working from home 
- No curfew during the weekends. I don’t intend to leave during weekdays, but if I do, is 
recommended to come back 8 hours before start to work 
- The family don’t have any pets at this time but they intend to get one in april 
- Family offered to pay the au pair luggage/boxes to move 
 
 
 
 
Communication is the key for a good relationship! 
 
I hope to have the opportunity to participate in the kids development. I want them to remember 
me when they are adults and have good memories. 
 
Hopefully we will have a great year together!
