What is
Samba is a Brazilian dance and
musical genre considered one of the
most representative elements of
Brazilian popular culture. 
The origin of samba is associated
with the mixture of musical
elements inherited from Africa
and Europe that took place in the
city of Rio de Janeiro in the 19th
century.
ORIORIGINGIN
Due to its great presence throughout the
national territory, samba assumes different
forms in each region, but always maintaining
the joy and its characteristic and enveloping
cadence. Thus, samba is a dance that can
vary depending on the scope in which it is
practiced, but in general everyone is invited
to dance and sing, with no restrictions
between men and women.
Who performs?
Samba seduces with its contagious rhythms and
movements, where the main requirements are the sway of
the hips and the sway of the waist. Originally played by
strings (cavaquinho and various types of guitar) and also
by various percussion instruments, Samba was, over the
years, influenced by other knowledge and flavors, which
added the melodies of instruments such as trombones,
trumpets, flute and clarinet.
