English : BLACK HISTORY MONTH 
Black history month is a time in America, Canada and The United Kingdom, when everyone celebrates the achievements 
and contributions of black people to society. In America and Canada, it is always celebrated in February. Many schools 
have festivals and plays during this time. People are encouraged to think about African Americans in society who inspire 
them, and also think about ways to inspire those around them.

O mês da história negra é uma época na América, no Canadá e no Reino Unido, em que todos celebram as realizações e 
contribuições dos negros para a sociedade. Na América e no Canadá, é sempre celebrado em Fevereiro. Muitas escolas 
organizam festivais e peças de teatro durante este período. As pessoas são encorajadas a pensar nos afro-americanos 
na sociedade que os inspiram, e também a pensar em formas de inspirar aqueles que os rodeiam.
