Texto 27. Dad, are you alright.
• DAD, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?
• One night, 10-year-old Isaac went downstairs 
to get some water. He saw his father drinking 
at the balcony. Worried as it is the first time in 
years that he saw his father drink again, he 
approached him. “Dad, are you alright?” he 
asked. “Yes, son. I’m fine,” he replied. “My 
mind is just filled with several thoughts and I 
am trying to relax myself.” Isaac was not used 
to seeing his father like this. He came nearer 
and gave his father a tight hug. He told him, 
“Dad, it is alright. I am here. Mom is here.” 
Tears fell from his father’s eye in that moment 
while whispering back, “The world might have 
too many problems, but I’m happy that I have 
our family with me. I love you, son.”
• PAI, VOCÊ ESTÁ BEM?
• Uma noite, Isaac, de 10 anos, desceu as 
escadas para tomar água. Ele viu seu pai 
bebendo na varanda. Preocupado como é a 
primeira vez em anos que ele viu seu pai 
beber novamente, ele se aproximou dele. 
“Papai, você está bem?” Ele perguntou. – Sim, 
filho. Eu estou bem, “ele respondeu. “Minha 
mente está cheia de vários pensamentos e 
estou tentando me relaxar.” Isaac não estava 
acostumado a ver seu pai assim. Ele se 
aproximou e deu um abraço apertado em seu 
pai. Ele disse a ele: “Pai, está tudo bem. Eu 
estou aqui. Mamãe está aqui. “Lágrimas 
caíram dos olhos de seu pai naquele 
momento enquanto sussurravam de volta:” O 
mundo pode ter muitos problemas, mas 
estou feliz por ter minha família comigo. Eu te 
amo filho.”
