Stung material
A piece of wire

with double yarn. The stung material used in this toy is
polyester wadding.

Kernel-pult - character of the popular game “Plants vs Zombies”,
that was developed and released by PopCap Games.

2 Abbreviations
 Ch - chain
 Sl - slip stitch
 Sc - single crochet
 Dc - double crochet
 Tr - treble crochet
 HDc - half double crochet
 INC - increase
INVDEC - invisible decrease
 Tr INC - treble increase
 BLO - back loops only
 FLO - front loops only
All amigurumi toys
are crocheted with
tight stitches. Avoid
small holes when
stretching crochet
fabric, if there are
some tiny holes,
use a smaller size
hook. To avoid
seams, all details
are crocheted in a
spiral without slip
stitch and lifting
loops. There is a
chance that you
will lose the
beginning of the
row; to avoid this,
use a marker. It can
be a colored pin or
thread of contrasting
color.
Tip 1
The toy must be
 crocheted with tight
stitches, to be sure that
there won't be any holes
through which stung
material can
be seen.
Tip 2
To keep track of
the beginning of the
row, use a marker. Pin
 marker to the last loop
 of the row. Every new
row must be nished
 with a loop at
the marker.

9 Assembly
Take some soft wire, fold it a few
times and curl it up to make it
more rigid. Bend it, try to simulate
the shape of the leaf.
Insert it inside the leaf. Cut the
extra wire and tuck the edges in.
Sew the last row of the leaf with
the end of yarn that we left before.
Do not cut the yarn. Do the same
with the other 5 leaves.

Take the corn and a leaf. Sew
it to the last row of the corn
with the end of yarn that we
left before.
Now, you need to sew the leaf
on the corn's body. Guide the
yarn to one edge of the leaf, and
more precisely to the 3rd row
from the end. Then, insert the
needle into row 38 of the corn
and make a stitch.
Do the same with the other edge
of the leaf. Fasten and cut the yarn,
hiding the end inside the corn.
Bend the leaf a little.

The other leaves must be placed all
around the circumferenceof the corn,
without gaps between them. Sew all
leaves one by one in the same way.
Turn the basket inside out. Place the
piece of corn at the center of the
basket and sew it with the end of yarn
that we left before. Fasten and cut the
yarn, hiding the end inside the detail.
Turn the basket the other way round,
restoring its original shape.

with the increases) into the side of
the basket.

Sew the stalk to the basket with
the end of light green yarn that we
