Muito assustada, Madalena pede insistentemente para Caio reduzir a marcha do
veículo, pois àquela velocidade não seria possível controlar o automóvel. Caio,
entretanto, respondeu aos pedidos dizendo ser perito em direção e refutando
qualquer possibilidade de perder o controle do carro. Todavia, o automóvel
atinge um buraco e, em razão da velocidade empreendida, acaba se desgovernando,
vindo a atropelar três pessoas que estavam na calçada, vitimando-as fatalmente.
Realizada perícia de local, que constatou o excesso de velocidade, e ouvidos
Caio e Madalena, que relataram à autoridade policial o diálogo travado entre o
