Resposta: This novel presents the dificulties encountered by an orphan that was adopted but did not enjoyed all rights that was due to him as he would nowadays. He was not totally accepted as part of the family and did not inherited anything as a adopted person has the legal rights to it, nowadays. Due to these themes that appear in Wuthering Heights we may say that it can be associated with the idea of a social novel. For the readers at the time this piece of work was printed this ideas where not yet explored by the society.
