MEMORABLE MOTHER'S DAY MESSES
 By KitchenDaily Editors  www.aol.com
Everything in the Bathroom Sink - Reader Stacey Anne Yates says her son, Wyatt, takes holidays very seriously, especially Mother's Day, and always presents her with a card and a homemade snack. "When Wyatt was six years old, he disappeared into the bathroom promising me a surprise," Stacey relates. "I figured the bathroom had become his card making lair and I mentally scheduled time to clean up the rogue glue and glitter. Twenty minutes later, he popped out very pleased with his Mother's Day surprise. He darted into the kitchen and returned with two spoons. With spoons in hand he led me, eyes closed, into the bathroom. SURPRISE! Wyatt had made me Macaroni & Cheese in his small bathroom sink. You know the stuff: the box of noodles with the dried cheese packet. Now imagine that orange powder embedded in the tile grout and the noodles expanding in the P-trap. Not to mention the butter that was "hand stirred" into the concoction and spread across most of the bathroom's surfaces and the towels. YUM! He was so proud of his mushy cheesy masterpiece that I had no choice but to dig in. It was a plumber's nightmare but an unforgettable Mother's Day meal."
What did Stacey mean when she said: "I mentally scheduled time to clean up the rogue and glitter."

She thought it would be hard to clean up the mess.

She thought her son would make no mess at all.

She thought Wiatt would gave her a beautiful card.

She thought the bathroom would be cleaned by Wiatt.

She thought it would be a nice and creative surprise.

	 10a Questão (Ref.: 201202268934)
	8a sem.: Paragrafo Descritivo
	DESCARTADA
The following paragraph is clearly a narrative paragraph. Read the paragraph below and say if you agree or not with the previous statement. Standing on his hind legs, this rare andalucian stallion is fearless. His ears are turned back while his noble looking head is held high. His all black coat glistens in the late afternoon sun. His face displays a strong confidence with his nostrils flared, his veins bulging from his cheek bones, and his fiery black eyes burning holes into the souls of those who stare into them. His neck muscles are tensed and thickened with adrenalin. His black main is thrown into the wind like a flag rippling in the winds of a tornado. His muscular front legs are brought up to his chest displaying his flashing gray hooves that could crush a man's scull with one blow. His backbone and underbelly are held almost straight up and his hind quarters are tensed. His back legs are spread apart for balance. His back hooves are pressed into the earth; therefore, his hoovescause deep gouges from the weight of his body on the soil. His black tail is held straight down and every once in a while a burst of wind catches it and then it floats down back into place like an elegant piece of silk falling from the sky. His bravery and strength are what made his breed prized as a warhorse. ~© Jamell Wilson, 2005~
