1 EE2353: Continuous-Time Signals and Systems: HOMEWORK #1 Fall 2015 , Univ. of Texas at El Paso (UPDATED) ASSIGNED: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 DUE: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 QUIZ #1: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 (at the end of class) WEIGHT: Homework #1 worth 1.0 % and Quiz#1 worth 1.5% of your grade. ANNOUNCEMENTS, REMINDERS, LOGISTICS: OFFICE HRS.: Monday - Thursday 11:20-12:20 PM Friday (unless other meetings overlap) 11:30-12:20 PM (send e-mail or call before to confirm) Each homework-quiz combinations will each be worth approximately 2.5% of the grade Quizzes will consist of randomly selected, modified versions of the homework problems. Solutions to homeworks will be made available via e-mail 1-2 days prior to the Quiz (remind me if you don’t receive something by 3:00 PM the day before, send reminder to: sergioc@utep.edu ) Homework papers may or may not be collected but they will be checked off (pass/fail grading). In any case, you will be allowed to use your own homework paper (in your own handwriting) during the Quizzes! Quizzes will be closed book and will not require the use of calculators so they are not allowed.
