Opening hours: daily from 9:30 am to 17h and up to 19h in July and August.

Spire
Light Monument opened in 2002 on O'Connell Street. It has 120 meters high and is made of stainless steel.
 
 
 
Trinity College e The Book Of Kells
The university campus can be visited for free. The library has one of the largest collections in the world, with a total of approximately 4.5 million books and a substantial amount of original manuscripts, including the famous "Book of Kells" a Latin manuscript dated around 800 AD Time of operation: Monday to Saturday from 9h30 to 17h. Reduced hours on Sundays.
 
 
Kilmainham Gaol
One of the largest disabled prisons in Europe. It is known historically by the cruelty with which the prisoners were treated. Getting there: bus lines 69 or 79 from Ashton Quay (next to Temple Bar); bus lines 13 or 40 from O'Connell Street or Trinity College. Luas (tram) red line, Suir Road station. Opening hours: 9.30 am to 17.30, closing at 18h in summer (entrance until one hour before closing).

Dublin Castle
Founded in 1204, today the site covers an area of over 44,000 square meters, containing two museums, two cafes, an international conference center, two gardens, government buildings and state apartments, which are now used for important events government. The entrance to the interior of the castle is free but a fee of €4.50 euros is charged for the visit (only guided) to the apartments.
 
 
Christ Church Cathedral e ST. Patrick’s Cathedral
Founded in 1028, the cathedral is open free to visitors who wish to enjoy its beautiful interior and its fascinating medieval crypt. ST. Patrick's Cathedral as the name implies, this cathedral was founded in honor of the patron saint of Ireland. The construction is dated 1220. It is open free to the faithful and charge a contribution of €5.50 euros for tourists wishing to visit the site outside the schedules of Masses.
 
 
Ha’penny Bridge
Charming bridge built over the River Liffey dated 1816. It was the first pedestrian bridge and as the name suggests, was charged a penny for every person crossing it. Today, about 30,000 people cross the bridge every day and not have to pay!
