Resposta: It´s important to work the comunication skills, always trying to improve speaking and learning how to express yourself. Besides, it´s important to apply basic and important things, vocabulary and actions from our daily routine, everyday life, like working, travelling, etc. At last, we have always to practice conversation with a native speaker and not be shy or be afraid from making any mystakes.

Resposta: Dictionary definitions are not enough to provide their figurative meanings because we have to understand how a language works. There´s a lot of expressions used at daily routine, use of slangs, phrasal verbs and collocations that cannot be defined by dictionary. Expressions like "a piece of cake" or "when pigs fly" if analyzed as individual words cannot make any sense. That´s why we need to study the idiom to understand the figurative meaning. It´s different everywhere.
