Globalization Globalization is a process of interaction and integration of different people, governments, cultures, and economy. One of the most important factor responsible for this process is the advance of communication media. Many historians argue that Globalization began in the 15 century when the European man started to establish commercial and cultural relations with people from other continents. However, Globalization definitely started after the fall of Socialism in Eastern Europe and in the Soviet Union, at the end of the 20 century. Nowadays, this process provides some positive aspects. For exemple, in a globalized economy, companies can lower the cost of their products, because they can look for the best production condition in many parts of the world. In addition, Globalization contributes to faster and more efficient exchange of experiences and knowledge. On the other hand, Globalization also has negative aspects, like the contamination of many countries in case of economic crises in an economic block or in a country. It happened in 2008, when a crisis in the USA quickly spread around the world, generating unemployment. In conclusion, it’s possible to realize Globalization is a complex process that has positive and negative aspects, so economists and experts on the subject should continue studies and research about it.
