But the different settings of the Lego games help tweak the formula in their favor. Just like the previous Lego Marvel there will be a ridiculous amount of characters to unlock and plenty to uncover in free roam outside of the main storyline. For those whose mission in life is to play tiny super heroes destroying legos. The Witness has the same core concept, the player ventures around a seemingly abandoned island solving puzzles and unearthing mysteries long since abandoned. Even though only a certain number of puzzles need to be completed in order to advance to the ultimate ending, the player is free to play all of the 650 puzzles the developer has crafted into the game. Oh, and just like Myst, The Witness is gorgeous. For those who love puzzles and miss their Myst. More enemies, more technologies, more research, wider range of turn based tactics, much better story (hopefully),means mo’ better for fans of the highly addictive and immersive first round of Alien defense. For those who want to be the Men in Black and kick some Alien Ass. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia Just Like Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, Russia is a part of a three part off shoot of the main Assassin’s Creed series switching out sandbox 3D for stealth based 2.5D platforming. But stealth has rarely looked as beautiful. It may be simple, hide in the shadows and climb areas with more vivid color, but it’s a joy to watch your assassin traverse through the beautiful scenery. Russia will also be released alongside a collection of all three Chronicles game. For those who want to get even more death inside those lavish picturesque settings. Firewatch Being a park ranger can be a lonely job. Just ask Henry in FPS adventure game Firewatch. Taking place in 1989 Wyoming after the 1988 Yellowstone fires, Firewatch follows Henry as he discovers mysteries surrounding his fire lookout post in Shoshone National Park. To make matters worse, phone lines have been compromised, girls are missing and someone is watching Henry. However, this is a no cellphone age and his only form of communication is a walkie-talkie connecting him to Delilah, his supervisor. For those who won’t go insane in complete isolation…and without cell phone. Mighty No. 9 From the creator of Mega Man, Mighty No. 9 is a spiritual successor of sorts to that legendary franchise. Featuring frantic side scrolling platforming action featuring a little man who very similar to the aforementioned hero. Our hero can run, jump, shoot, and dash his way through what is sure to be some very difficult levels. The player uses the dash mechanic as a way to get through obstacles and destroy weakened enemies all while trying to tally up the greatest score. For those who want some hardcore mixed with their cute. Unravel Yarny is flat out adorable. That should be enough to get plenty of gamers interested. This tale of a small creature made entirely of yarn who embarks on a journey to reconnect with his lost family is sure to connect with a large gaming audience. As he travels the yarn unravels from his body and Yarny must use this extra string to swing, hook, grab, and throw himself across environmental puzzles. For those who love adorable bundles of yarn, and fiendishly clever puzzles. Street Fighter V Street Fighter IV was a huge hit, and I think Capcom was smart in waiting the better part of a decade to release a sequel in fear of oversaturation. Featuring sixteen playable characters from the get-go (with more DLC characters post launch), the ex-gauge from Street Fighter 3, and a much more substantial story mode than in previous outings , Street Fighter V promises to more than deliver the goods players are anticipating. V also introduces the V-Gauge, which powers up when the player receives attacks. Player can spend the built up V-Gauage mid fight on various skills, ability boosts, and added defense tactics in order to change the tide in their favor during tense fights. For those gamers who both button mash and learn every single one of Ryu’s special moves.
