SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 01 To be Verb - (Verbo to be) Vale a pena ressaltar que o Verbo to be tem uma importância fundamental dentro da Língua Inglesa. Em inglês são eles: In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 5 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA Bem pessoal, agora falaremos diretamente do verbo to be. São ela: AM, ARE, IS conforme o que será mostrado a seguir: In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 01 Simple Present (Presente simples) Affirmative Form (Sujeito + Verbo) I AM I’m YOU ARE You’re HE IS he’s SHE IS she’s IT IS It’s WE ARE we’re YOU ARE you’re THEY ARE they’re A forma que se encontra ao lado é a chamada forma contraída que é mais comum numa linguagem falada que na escrita. 6 www.cepep.com.br/ead Negative Form (Sujeito + Verbo + Negação) Na Forma negativa basta acrescentar a Negação “not” depois do verbo. Save Our Soil Soil is essential for life, but soil conservation is a world problem today. Many countries suffer the effects of the excessive pressure of human activities: mining, accumulation of toxic herbicides and pesticides, pollution, deforestation, and erosion. Soil can perform many functions, but two of them are particularly important: a biological function (it contains many plant and animal species), and a nutrition function because it contains elements necessary for life such as mineral salts, air and water. Plants eat, drink and breathe what comes from the soil. Soil is a non-renewable natural resource, just like coal or oil. Nature needs from 3.000 to 12.000 years to form a soil layer equivalent to the length of this page. Humanity cannot wait so long. We need soil protection now. Simple Present. 25 www.cepep.com.br/eadSEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 03 Forma afirmativa Compare com o Português a conjugação do verbo "to work" (trabalhar) In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l I work Eu trabalho You work tu trabalhas He works ele trabalha She works ela trabalha It works ele trabalha/ ela trabalha We work nós trabalhamos You work Vós trabalhais They would not be Eles/elas trabalham I work for a big company (eu trabalho pára uma grande empresa) He works for a big company (ele trabalha pára uma grande empresa) Isso acontece com todos os verbos no Simple Present na 3ª pessoa do singular Vale lembrar que em Inglês o "s" no final de um verbo não caracteriza plural Bem, como toda regra tem suas exceções aqui vão elas: Verbos terminados em s,sh,ch,x,z,o recebem "ES" na 3ª pessoa do singular. 26 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 03 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l I brush You brush He brushes She brushes It brushes We brush You brush They brush To brush (escovar) Verbos terminados em "y" precedidos de consoante trocam o "y" por "ies". Observe: Afirmativa: He works for a big company (Ele trabalha para uma grande empresa) Negativa: He does not work for a big company (Ele não trabalha para uma grande empresa) O "s" da 3ª pessoa do singular da forma afirmativa sumiu quando passamos para negativa: Aqui também vale a contração do auxiliar com a negação: DOES + NOT = DOESN’T Veja como fica aquele primeiro exemplo (no início da Aula) da forma afirmativa para a forma negativa. 29 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 03 Forma interrogativa In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l EXEMPLO: Afirmativa: I work for a big company. Quando o sujeito for 3ª pessoa do singular, ou seja, He, she, it fazemos a mesma coisa. Formamos o Present Continuous pela junção do verbo to be no presente (am, are, is) mais o gerúndio do verbo principal. EXPLICAÇÃO: Observe que usamos a estrutura do verbo to be no presente (aula 01) + um segundo verbo (no caso o verbo “to watch”-assistir) no gerúndio. O verbo to be será acrescentado por você. Basta olhar o sujeito da frase e acrescentar a flexão correspondente do verbo to be no presente. VERBO EM INGLÊS TRADUÇÃO VERBO EM INGLÊS NO PASSADO TRADUÇÃO Work trabalhar Worked trabalhou Open abrir Opened abriu He worked last night ( ele trabalhou noite passada) I opened the window this morning ( eu abri a janela esta manhã) Simple Past. Study(estudar) – studied(estudou) 3) Verbos monossílabos terminados em CVC (Consoante Vogal Consoante) duplicam a última letra e recebem “ed” stop(parar) Stopped(parou) Fix(consertar) fixed(consertou) 39 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l EXERCÍCIOS Vamos exercitar? He didn't work last night. (ele não trabalhou noite passada) I didn't open the window this morning ( não abri a janela esta manhã) In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l A forma do passado de make (fazer) é made (fez) Nada me indica que este verbo é irregular. Na verdade tenho isso decorado. FORMA NEGATIVA Para forma negativa usamos antes do verbo o auxiliar did + not, formando assim didn't antes do verbo. Did you arrive yesterday? (Você chegou ontem?) Did he leave last week? (Ele partiu na semana passada?) 41 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 42 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 43 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 44 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 45 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 46 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 47 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 48 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 49 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 50 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 51 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 52 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 54 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 55 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 56 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l 57 www.cepep.com.br/ead SEAD EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA INGLÊS INSTRUMENTAL - AULA 05 In g lê s I n s tr u m e n ta l Os verbos que se seguem abaixo, são todos irregulares.
