Electrical Engineer (Street Lighting and Signals)
£31,401 to £35,229 per annum Permanent, full time (Devonshire, England)
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to provide a leading role in the street-lighting team at a time when the service is being redesigned and a new contract developed. You will have expertise in street lighting design (including LED) and maintenance, familiar with working safely on the highway and CDM, managing contractors, and an ability to use transferable skills to support traffic signals and ITS when required. You will be required to travel across Devon, so a driving licence is essential. You will have good interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with the public, councillors and peers.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Closing date: 06 September 2018
Interview date: 17 September 2018 (provisional)
You must have: Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
