·	The rules for adjective order in English are hard to define and to follow for at least three reasons. Mention them and give examples to support your answer.
RESPOSTA DISSERTATIVANOTA: 8.50
-The first factor that makes it difficult to remember and organize the adjectives into a sentence is: the punctuation. Where to put the comma in the sentence, for example.
- At the moment of choosing the adjective, it is also important to know that sometimes the noun works as an adjective as in the example: Pencil case
-Another reason: If there is more than one adjective of the same type. What will be the order and their organization in a sentence.
(Opinion- factual- size- temperature / age- shape-color / pattern- origin- material- purpose / type
-Another important reason is its syntactic function in the sentence. (Does the adjective come before the noun or after?)

RESPOSTA DISSERTATIVANOTA: 9.00
It is understood that, today, the economic, political and social integration called globalization, begun many years ago, has brought an immense and rapid era of increasingly sophisticated means of communication and information, thus requiring highly competent professionals to realize their skills in the most effective way possible, conquering and maintaining their employ-ability. With the speed of changes occurring daily, it has become imperative not to waste time on any factors that impair the knowledge and information of the world and global relationships.

Still, for the world, an international language is an opportunity tool and a fundamental tool for global communication, American English due to Hollywood and British English due to the business world and the traditions of the language, will continue to be dominant among the international languages.

Explain why Rajagopalan (1997) says the idea of the native speaker has been blurred.
What he meant is that the English language is no longer considered the property of the native speaker. In fact, the English language became a world language. This means that speaking English as a native speaker should no longer be the focus of English teaching. Rajagopalan emphasizes that considering the native variety of English as the only correct one can increase students' sense of inferiority to the ideal way of speaking.
Rajagopalan argues that the native variety of English is not the best and is not the only correct, since we can all speak the English world to communicate. In his point of view, we need to be aware that every language and dialect must be valued for what it represents and what it means for the speaker; none is better or more valuable, at least linguistically. He believes that it is not to underestimate or diminish the value of native English speakers, but it brings the idea of ??valuing all other varieties of language, which are the result of the role of English as a global language, we should not teach British English, American English or English Canadian. Rajagopalan has in mind that we should teach world English.
If you were asked to design an EFL textbook for a group of kids, immigrants from Cuba in the USA, which aspects should you take into account when designing the material under the cultural pedagogy? Write at least two aspects and justify.
In creating a textbook for immigrant children from Cuba in the USA, it is necessary to prioritize the different forms of communication that reflect the cultural values of American society, such as: approaching people, expressing gratitude, making requests and agreeing or disagreeing with others.
The second aspect of this material will be to prepare these Cuban children to live as citizens without losing their cultural origins. But making these students open to gain new information and knowledge of a new country in the case (United States) and also know how to live with people from other countries that also live in the United States.
This didactic material should be created with exercises and activities that provide the use of language associated with culturally appropriate behavior. It is important to include in this material an approach on the United States as a multicultural society composed of people of different nationalities and ethnic groups.
This material should teach these students to be aware that the ethnic constitution in diverse America in relation to homogeneous societies where they come from. In addition, students need to learn that their ethnic group of people are not American and they already have cultural identity. It is fundamental to consider the cultural heritage of these Cuban children. Bring into reality, a bridge between their culture and the new culture that will be presented, which in the case here is the Americana.
To produce cultural knowledge, the most important thing is to engage cultures through active activities, where students can produce new knowledge using the reference of their own culture. It is important that this material contains: Music, folklore, dance, typical foods, popular knowledge, typical parties and anything that represents a cultural bridge from Cuba to the United States.
Example of Active Activity
Celebration
Topic: How do I celebrate in my country as it is celebrated in the United States?
Material: Pictures of different celebrations of the united states.
- Audio of typical songs of each celebration like: Christmas
-How do I celebrate Christmas in my country? Are there any special songs? What differences are there in my country compared to the United States?
Purpose: At the end of the activity students will be able to speak, read and write about the organization and purpose of the various American festivities by making a comparison with the festivities of their own country (Cuba).
Practice: Observe photos of different festivities in the United States and talk and write about their different characteristics and purpose of each festivities.
- Say and write how each festival is celebrated in the country of their origin (Cuba) and what are the similarities and differences?

Read the text below and write a brief critical comment in Portuguese:
Whether getting feedback to an exercise or giving feedback to learners on an activity or writing task, teachers should always remember that feedback should be accompanied by praise and encouragement in order to build trust and confidence. If teachers use student-centred activities in their classrooms, it seems logical to support these with student-centred feedback on those activities. In many ways, feedback on tasks is similar to checking test papers in that the results are of little value unless something is learned or gained from them. Traditional feedback still has its place under certain circumstances, but a variety of feedback techniques relieves the monotony of the procedure, particularly if those techniques encourage learner involvement, responsibility and co-operation. The teacher is then left to field questions, clear up problems and respond to the diagnostic function, while feedback serves a real, meaningful and communicative purpose.

The relationship between student and teacher goes far beyond a classroom. It is important that the teacher be a channel of motivation, awakening to the new, expansion of knowledge, encouragement. One of the tasks of the teacher is to make the student understand the current level of performance and the level desired. For this to be possible, well-applied feedback is needed to get the student to perform better. Motivate the student to feel safe to err and convey confidence for correction and self-correction. When exposure to mistakes is encouraged, it makes the student believe in their own ability. The teacher needs to convey a sense of purpose for each activity and subject addressed. To generate real meaning for the construction of knowledge. To allow the student to reflect on diverse situations and on himself, bringing to that student the self responsibility and self-reflection.
