Será realizada a derivação implícita da seguinte equação:
\(\Longrightarrow \sqrt{xy} + 2x = \sqrt{y}\)
\(\Longrightarrow x^{1 \over 2}y^{1 \over 2} + 2x = y^{1 \over 2}\)
Derivando os dois lados da equação em \(x\), tem-se que:
\(\Longrightarrow {d \over dx}\Big (x^{1 \over 2}y^{1 \over 2} \Big ) + {d \over dx}(2x) = {d \over dx} (y^{1 \over 2})\)
\(\Longrightarrow \Big [y^{1 \over 2}{d \over dx}x^{1 \over 2} + x^{1 \over 2}{d \over dx}y^{1 \over 2} \Big ] + 2{d \over dx}(x) = {d \over dx} (y^{1 \over 2})\)
\(\Longrightarrow \bigg [y^{1 \over 2}{d \over dx}x^{1 \over 2} + x^{1 \over 2}{d \over dy}y^{1 \over 2}{dy \over dx} \bigg ] + 2\cdot 1 = {d \over dy} (y^{1 \over 2}){dy \over dx}\)
\(\Longrightarrow \bigg [y^{1 \over 2}\Big ({1 \over 2}x^{{1 \over 2}-1} \Big) + x^{1 \over 2} \Big ({1 \over 2}y^{{1 \over 2}-1} \Big){dy \over dx} \bigg ] + 2 = \Big ({1 \over 2}y^{{1 \over 2}-1} \Big){dy \over dx}\)
\(\Longrightarrow {1 \over 2} { y^{1 \over 2} \over x^{1 \over 2}} + {1 \over 2} { x^{1 \over 2} \over y^{1 \over 2}} {dy \over dx} + 2 = {1 \over 2}{1 \over y^{1 \over 2}} {dy \over dx} \)
\(\Longrightarrow {1 \over 2} \sqrt{ y \over x} + {1 \over 2} \sqrt{ x \over y} {dy \over dx} + 2 = {1 \over 2 \sqrt{y}} {dy \over dx} \)
Multiplicando os dois lados da equação por \(2\sqrt{xy}\), tem-se que:
\(\Longrightarrow y + x {dy \over dx} + 4\sqrt{xy} = \sqrt{x} {dy \over dx} \)
\(\Longrightarrow x {dy \over dx} - \sqrt{x} {dy \over dx} = -(y+4\sqrt{xy})\)
\(\Longrightarrow (x - \sqrt{x}) {dy \over dx} = -(y+4\sqrt{xy})\)
\(\Longrightarrow {dy \over dx} = -{y+4\sqrt{xy} \over x - \sqrt{x}}\)
\(\Longrightarrow \fbox {$ {dy \over dx} = {y+4\sqrt{xy} \over \sqrt{x}-x} $}\)
