What is the algorithm for advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation?

The advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation includes techniques, maneuvers, and knowledge aimed at applying definitive treatment in situations of cardiac arrest, ensuring the replacement of circulatory and respiratory functions until they recover.
The reversible causes of cardiac arrest are hypoxia, hypothermia, hypovolemia, hyper-/hypokalemia, and other metabolic disorders (the four 'H's) and cardiac tamponade, toxins and drug overdose, coronary and/or pulmonary thrombosis, and tension pneumothorax (the four 'T's).
The clinical presentation of cardiac arrest is unconsciousness, absence of peripheral and central pulses, cyanosis, apnea, or gasping.
The diagnosis of cardiac arrest is mainly clinical, although there is also an electrocardiographic diagnosis.
The treatment of cardiac arrest in the hospital follows the advanced life support algorithm, which includes opening the airway and ventilation, cardiac massage, placement of the monitor-defibrillator, and administration of drugs and fluids.
