What’s the weather like in each season? What’s the best time to visit? Why? What time is not good to visit? Why? It is always warm or hot in my city. There are only two seasons. Summer is from May to October and it is always very hot – sometimes 35° or 40°. Winter is from November to April and in the daytime it is nice and warm – usually between 18° and 24°. But it is sometimes very cold at night, so bring a warm jacket if you come in the winter. There is very little rain in my city, but the Sahara Desert is very near and sometimes there are sandstorms. The best time to come is in January or February because it isn’t too hot. In my city there are four seasons, like in the UK, but spring and autumn are very short. In summer the temperature is warm – usually about 23˚ to 25˚, but sometimes it is very hot – about 30˚. The winter starts at the end of October. It is very cold, sometimes -10˚ or -15˚. In January and February the days are very short and there is a lot of snow. If you are very cold you can drink some vodka to make you warm again! If you come in winter bring warm clothes and a woolly hat.
