Presenter: Dear viewers, hello and 
welcome to a new episode of Your 
Issues. A new resolution from the UN 
Security Council demands that Ansar 
Allah restore normalcy, withdraw from 
the cities, and return weapons. The UN 
opposes what they describe as Ansar 
Allah’s unilateralism. This resolution 
came after threats from the Gulf 
Cooperation Council to take punitive 
measures against Yemen if the current 
situation persists. In addition, some 
countries–many countries–are closing 
their embassies in Sanaa. 
 
مشاهدينا الكرام، اسعد هللا اوقاتكم :مقدم البرنامج
جديدة من قضاياكم، بكل خير و اهال بكم في حلقة
اذن قرار جديد من مجلس االمن الدولي يطالب 
انصار هللا بتطبيع الحياة و االنسحاب من المدن و 
إعادة األسلحة و يرفض ما وصفها باالجراءات 
االحادية، قرار بعد تهديد من مجلس التعاون 
الخليجي بإتخاذ اجراءات عقابية ضد اليمن حال 
او على ما هو عليه، استمرار الوضع الى ما هو 
باالضافة الى ما حصل من بعض الدول من سحب 
 .سفاراتها من صنعاء وصلت الى عدة دول
We are wondering what Ansar Allah’s 
options are amid these new challenges. 
We will discuss this topic with my 
honorable guest in the studio, a 
member of Ansar Allah’s political 
council, Mr. Ali Al-Emad. Hello Mr. Ali. 
 
نتسائل هنا ما هي خيارات انصار هللا امام هذه 
التحديات الجديدة، سنناقش هذا الوضع مع ضيفي 
الكريم في االستوديو عضو المجلس السياسي

Ali Al-Emad: Thank you. اهال :علي العماد . 
Presenter: UN Security Council 
Resolution 2201–how do you deal with 
this resolution? Will you implement 
what was stated in it? Will you withdraw 
from Sanaa and other places? Will you 
return the weapons? Will you release 
the former leadership that the 
resolution indicates are imprisoned? 
 
قرار مجلس االمن اثنين و :مقدم البرنامج
 ؟عشرين صفر واحد، كيف ستتعاملون مع القرار
ستنسحبون من صنعاء و ؟ستنفذون ما ورد فيه
غيرها، ستعيدون األسلحة، ستفرجون عن 
القيادات التي قال القرار بانّه محاصرة القيادات 
 السابقة ام ماذا؟ 
Ali Al-Emad: I want to remind you that 
this resolution is inferior to previous 
resolutions, meaning that society 
should be the one to impose the 
international community's will. Ansar 
Allah is not targeting certain countries 
at the expense of other countries–for 
example, converting a country from 
 
اذكر ان هذا القرار هو دون القرارات :العمادعلي 
السابقة، بمعنى ان المجتمع هو من يفرض 
االرادة الدولية، ال يوجد لدى أنصار هللا استهداف 
لدول معينة على حساب دول معينة، استهداف 
مثال هم يعني مثال تحويلها من محور مثال الغرب 
 .الى محور الشرق أو ما شابه أل
being allied with the west to being allied 
with the east, or something to that 
effect. 
But we envision the next stage to be 
one of equal footing in terms of 
communication with the outside world. 
Nowadays, there is no real pressure. 
We have numerous meetings with 
ambassadors–even with embassies 
that had announced that they would 
suspend their work in Yemen... 
 
لكننا نرى ان المرحلة القادمة ستكون مرحلة ندية 
في التفاهمات مع الخارج، بمعنى انه اليوم ال 
يوجد ضغط حقيقي، لنا لقاءات عديدة مع السفراء 
تي اعلنت انها يعني ستعلق حتى السفارات ال

Presenter: Regarding the detainment 
of President Hadi and others–Nadia Al-
Saqqaf, the Information Minister of the 
outgoing government, stated about an 
hour ago on Twitter that the president 
suffers from a heart condition and must 
leave the country immediately. All 
countries–a group of countries–as well 
as Jamal Benomar, say that you have 
placed President Hadi under house 
arrest. Will you permit him to travel 
abroad for treatment? 
 
على ذكر احتجاز الرئيس هادي و :مقدم البرنامج
غيره، نادية السقاف وزيرة االعالم في الحكومة 
المستقيلة قبل ساعة تقريبا في تويتر قالت بأن 
الرئيس يعاني من مرض في القلب و ال بد ان 
يخرج الى الخارج فورا و الدول كلها تقول بأنكم 
أو مجموعة من الدول و جمال بن عمر يقول انه 
الجبرية من قبلكم هل ستسمحون له تحت اإلقامة 
 ؟بالسفر للعالج
Ali Al-Emad: The fact of the matter is, 
the reality of the situation must be 
understood. President Hadi, by his own 
admission, relies on outside 
intervention in his dealings with the 
Yemeni political scene. He never relied 
on his own country. He never 
depended on interior forces. He 
believes that external forces are the 
savior of international affairs. 
Nowadays, there are attempts to 
release the president so that he can 
continue his role running the country. 
The notion that he’s suffering from a 
health crisis, from an illness… 
 
يعني بالحقيقة يجب ان يـُفهم الواقع، :علي العماد
لسانه لطالما اعتمد الرئيس هادي يعني بعظمة
على الخارج في تعاطيه مع المشهد السياسي 
اليمني، لم يكن يوما معول على الداخل لم يكن 
يوما مستند للقوى في الداخل، يرى ان الخارج 
اليوم هناك محاوالت .هو المخلص للشأن الدولي
 .إلخراج الرئيس و ليستكمل دوره في ادارة البالد
 ...ازمة يعاني من مرضيعني فكرة انه يعاني من 
Presenter: Why can’t he leave the 
country? The man has already 
 
ايش المشكلة انه يخرج من :البرنامج مقدم
 ؟البالد، الرجل قدم استقالته الرجل خلص
submitted his resignation. He’s 
finished! 
Ali Al-Emad: The international 
community will use it to legitimize him, 
which may conflict with the existing 
political agreement. They’re using it as 
a means of applying pressure. Maybe 
there will be… 
 
سيستخدمه المجتمع الدولي في :علي العماد
شرعية في انتاج شرعية ربما تتضارب حتى مع 
التوافق السياسي الموجود، هي عبارة عن وسيلة 
 ... ضغط، ربما هناك
Presenter: Many events preceded the 
Security Council’s resolution, such as 
the Gulf Cooperation Council’s threat to 
enforce economic sanctions. We know 
that at least 70 percent of outside 
economic support comes from the Gulf 
Cooperation Council countries. What 
will you do if the sanctions are 
enforced? 
 
ما جاء من مجلس االمن كان قبله :مقدم البرنامج
عدة اشياء، تهديد من مجلس التعاون الخليجي 
بانه سيتخذ عقوبات اقتصادية، على االقل نحن 
نعرف ان سبعين في المية من الدعم االقتصادي 
هو من دول مجلس التعاون الخارجي لليمن 
 ؟الخليجي ماذا ستفعلون امام ذلك اذا ما تم
Ali Al-Emad: If you ask people on the 
street, no benefit can be derived from 
it. What I mean to say is, people derive 
no benefit from this so-called outside 
support. Maybe there is some support 
from international organizations in the 
field of human rights or development, 
some of which is very small...In 
general, the money lines the pockets of 
the influential. 
 
يعني لو تسأل المواطن في الشارع ال :علي العماد
يوجد له اي فائدة او لديه اي فائدة عفوا من 
الدعم ما يسمى بالدعم الخارجي ربما هناك بعض 
الدعم الذي يأتي عبر منظمات دولية في المجال 
الحقوقي أو التنموي بعضها بسيط جدا، هو يأتي 
 .الى جيوب كثير من النافذين
Yemen is not Lebanon, Yemen is not 
Jordan. Yemen has resources, 
resources that are sufficient, even the 
existing ones. That's not even taking 
into account how matters would be if 
corruption were eradicated. There are 
ports and customs. There are many 
resources, such as oil and natural gas 
resources. 
 
اليمن ليست لبنان اليمن ليست االردن اليمن لديها 
من الموارد، لديها من الموارد ما يكفيها حتى 
اذا فيما لو قـُضي على الموارد الحالية، ال اتكلم 
الفساد، لديك مرافئ لديك جمارك لديك موارد 
 .عديدة، لديك موارد غازية نفطية
What is currently occurring, what 
happened previously...If you study what 
happened in only ten contracts…We 
 
حدث االن ما حدث في الفترة الماضية لو ما ي
تطلع على ما يحدث من عشرة عقود فقط و نحن 
حاولنا نبحث في هذا الموضوع، موضوع عشرة 
tried to research this matter–the subject 
of ten oil contracts. You will see that a 
lot, about 70 percent of the revenue, 
goes to corrupt entities–not regular 
people. 
عقود نفطية سترى انه، ان كثير حوالي سبعين 
في المية من االيرادات تذهب الى اماكن فاسدة 
 .يعني ليست الى الشعب
