About the Author 
A. Kayode Coker, Ph.D., a senior lecturer and Course Director at 
Jubail Industrial College, and consultant for AKC Technology in 
England, is a chartered chemical engineer, corporate member of the 
Institution of Chemical Engineers in the U.K., and member of the 
American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He holds a B.Sc. honors 
degree in Chemical Engineering, an M.Sc. in Process Analysis and 
Development, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, all from Aston 
University, Birmingham, U.K. 
Dr. Coker has authored Fortran Programs for Chemical Process 
Design, Analysis and Simulation, and written a topic section in the 
Encyclopedia of Chemical Processing and Design (Vol. 61). He has 
directed and conducted short courses for Procter & Gamble in the 
U.K., Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and Saudi Aramco 
Shell Refinery Company (SASREF) in Saudi Arabia. His articles have 
been published in several international journals.
