ATTACHABLE OPTION
BEFORE STARTING
 STITCH GUIDE/ ABBREVIATIONS U.S. terms
mr: magic ring
sc: single crochet 
inc: increase (two single crochets in the same stitch) 
dec: decrease (crocheting two stitches together) 
BO: booble stitch, 4dctog (4 incomplete dc and pull through 5 loops)
BLO: back loop only
FLO: front loop only 
hdc: half double crochet 
hdcinc: two hdc in the same stitch 
dc: double crochet 
ch: chain 
cc: slip stitch 
(....)*: repeat what's inside the parenthesis as many times as the
number next to the asterisk 
(..): the number inside indicates how many rounds to crochet in the
same manner 
YARN- Weight 2 Fine
COLOURS: purple, black
2.5 mm crochet hook, needle, stuffing, 6x8 mm oval safety eyes,
stitch marker, scissors, optional: velcro, hook & loop fastener
NOTE: Please note that this pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds for
all the parts. At the end of each round, move your stitch marker to the last
stitch of the round and continue.

Place 8 mm oval safety eyes between
rounds 11-12, 4 stitches apart

Stuff the coccus.

FO, close the remaining stitches with a
needle. Weave the end in.
If you want your meningoccus attachable,
sew a velcro (hook & loop fastener) to the
sides of them between rounds 10-15. Or
simply sew the two coccus to each other. 
HEAD TO BODY
PILI
Attach the yarn randomly where you want to add a pilus. 
ch 5, start from the 2nd st from the hook, 4 sc, sc back in the same
beginning st. 
FO, knot the two ends and weave in.
Repeat this,as many as you wish around the coccus.I made 15 pili on each
coccus. 
Embroider a mouth (smiling or angry or flat, your choice! ) on your coccus.
