To teach students how to interpretate an informative text in order to use two reading techniques to understand what the text is about.
- Teaching method: Interactive class

Whiteboard, pilot, eraser, printed texts, pen and pencil.

	Stimulate students' previous knowledge asking about the subject.

	Give students a text and ask them to underline the ideas they judge as important.

	3. To build the comprehension about the text with the students.

	4. Ask students what they have understood about the text and stimulate the inference.

	5. Ask students if they know what kind of genre it is and its characteristics from the ones used before to the discussion.

	6. Brief explanation to students about the genre, its use/function from the ones used before to the discussion and the techniques they have used.

	Write on the board the words from the students.

	Ask students to answer the activity about the text they have in hands.

	Ask students to point out the main ideas they have found in order to discuss the genre structure.
