A) YESTERDAY ( ontem);
B) AGO (atrás=tempo);
C) LAST + UMA PALAVRA REFERENTE A TEMPO (
WEEK, MONTH, YEAR, NIGHT, CENTURY, ETC. );
D) DATA NO PASSADO.
EXAMPLES:
Peter went to Rio last week; They bought a new flat in
2005; Mr. White saw a good film last night; John sold his
old car last month; They visited us two days ago;

3 - NEGATIVE FORM:
Colocamos o verbo auxiliar DID + NOT = DIDN´T antes do
VERBO PRINCIPAL e esse verbo volta para o INFINITIVO sem
a partícula TO.
EXAMPLES:
The children got up late last Sunday. (Positive form)
The children didn´t get up late last Sunday. (Negative form).
The boys swam a lot yesterday. = The boys didn´t swim a lot
yesterday.
I fell asleep early last night. = I didn´t fall asleep early last
night.
They worked hard yesterday. = They didn´t work hard
yesterday.

4 – INTERROGATIVE FORM:
Colocamos o verbo auxiliar DID antes do SUJEITO e o
VERBO PRINCIPAL volta para o INFINITIVO sem a
partícula TO.
EXAMPLES:
I cycled through the park last Saturday. = Did I cycle
through the park last Saturday?
Paul ran 10 kilometers last Friday. = Did Paul run 10
kilometers last Friday?
Betty took a shower before going to work this morning.
= Did Betty take a shower before going to work this
morning?
