Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Mark the alternative with the correct use of If-Clauses: He would have had lunch with you if you had let him know you were free. They would have gone to the concert if they bought the tickets in advance. If you heat the water at 100 degrees C, it will boils. I would tell you that if you understand me. I will x the bike if you gave me the tools that I need. He would have had lunch with you if you had let him know you were free. Resposta: alternativa “e”. Comentário: Para usar as If-Clauses corretamente, devemos seguir algumas regras, conforme estudado na unidade. As alternativas “a”, “b”, “c” e “d” apresentam erros estruturais. (a) a if-clause deveria trazer o verbo “had bought”, uma vez que a main clause é “would have gone”; (b) é um exemplo de 0 conditional, em que os dois verbos permanecem no presente. Além de não obedecer a isso, apresenta um erro estrutural, exionando o verbo “boils” após o uso de um verbo modal; (c) a main clause é “would tell”, portanto, a if-clause deveria ser “understood”; (d) a main clause é “will x”, portanto, a if-clause deveria ser “give”. A única alternativa que apresenta coerência quanto ao uso das if-clauses é a “e” (main clause: “would have had”, e if-clause: “had let”). Pergunta 2 Resposta Selecionada: a. Respostas: a. Feedback da resposta: Continue talking. Call. Stand up. Study. Resposta: alternativa “a”. Comentário: Embora todas as alternativas tragam verbos no modo imperativo. (a) Cale-se; (b) Continue conversando; (c) Chame; (d) Fique de pé e (e) Estude, apenas a alternativa “a” dá sentido à oração, pois a sentença diz que: “Todo mundo estava contando histórias e rindo alto, quando de repente um homem veio e gritou: “Calem-se! Há pessoas ainda dormindo aqui”. Portanto, apenas a opção da alternativa “a” completa seu sentido. Pergunta 3 Resposta Selecionada: d. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Mark the alternative that presents the Factual or Zero Conditional: If air expands, it becomes lighter. If Mary arrives early today, we will go to the shopping mall. If you study more, you will pass the exam. If I had won the lottery, I would have bought a Ferrari. If air expands, it becomes lighter. John will see Frank, if he gets the rst ight. Resposta: alternativa “d”. Comentário: As alternativas “a” e “b” referem-se ao First Conditional (1.ª oração no Simple Present e segunda oração com futuro simples “will”. A alternativa “c” refere-se ao Third Conditional (primeira oração no Past Perfect e segunda com “would have” + verbo principal no particípio passado). A alternativa “d”, que é a correta, é o Factual ou Zero Conditional. Nesse caso, as duas orações estão no Simple Present e apresentam fatos reais, cientícos, imutáveis. Feedback da resposta: Third Conditional. Zero and First Conditionals. Resposta: alternativa “b”. Comentário: O “First Conditional” é utilizado para falar de resultados de uma situação futura imaginada, ou seja, quando pensamos que essa situação imaginada é possível de acontecer. Estrutura: Simple Present + Future “Will”. Pergunta 5 Resposta Selecionada: c. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Read a part of the lyrics “If I were a Boy”, by Beyoncé, observe the structures in bold type and mark the correct alternative concerning the type of Conditional: Second Conditional. Zero Conditional. First Conditional. Second Conditional. Third Conditional. First and Second Conditionals. Resposta: alternativa “c”. Comentário: O Second Conditional é usado para falar de um resultado possível de uma situação imaginária no presente ou no futuro. No caso da letra, o eu lírico mostra o que faria se fosse um garoto/homem: “If I were a boy...”. A estrutura sempre será Simple Past + Conditional (“would”). Observe que, conforme a letra da música mostra, quando o verbo “to be” estiver presente, usaremos “were” para todos os pronomes: “If I were”. Pergunta 6 Resposta Selecionada: d. Respostas: a. b. Feedback da resposta: Only I, III and IV are correct. Only I, II, III and IV are correct. Only I and V are correct. Resposta: alternativa “d”. Comentário: As sentenças I e II são exemplos de Future Progressive; as sentenças III e IV são exemplos de Future Perfect. Portanto, todas elas se referindo ao futuro. Apenas a sentença V não se refere ao futuro, pois se trata do Present Continuous, indicando uma ação que está acontecendo no momento. Pergunta 7 Resposta Selecionada: d. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Readthe sentences below and mark the correct alternative related to the use of “wish”. I - I wish she was here with me. II - They wish they hadn’t eaten so much salty food last night. III - I wished him very good and relaxing holidays. IV - They wish they could live in a small town. V - She wishes she were taller and slimmer. Only II, III, IV and V are correct. Only I, III and V are correct. Only II, III and IV are correct. Only I and V are correct. Only II, III, IV and V are correct. Only II and V are correct. Resposta: alternativa “d”. Comentário: As sentenças II, III, IV e V apresentam corretamente o uso do verbo “wish”. A única sentença com erro é a I, que não exiona o verbo “to be” corretamente para a forma “were”, conforme regras gramaticais estudadas. Pergunta 8 Resposta Selecionada: b. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Which alternative refers to Future tense? We shall deliver all the documents they required. We are cooking some Chinese food right now. We shall deliver all the documents they required. I am doing everything she asked me to. She gets up at 6am every day. He leaves home at 7am every Monday. Resposta: alternativa “b”. Comentário: Apenas a sentença “b” se refere ao futuro, feito com o Modal Verb “shall”. As demais alternativas se referem a outros tempos verbais. As alternativas “a” e “c” se referem ao Present Continuous para designar ações que ocorrem no momento da fala; as alternativas “d” e “e” se referem ao Simple Present, que implicam, no caso, ações rotineiras. 0,3 em 0,3 pontos 0,3 em 0,3 pontos 05/10/2020 Revisar envio do teste: QUESTIONÁRIO UNIDADE II – 5492-... https://ava.ead.unip.br/webapps/assessment/review/review.jsp?attempt_id=_47536510_1&course_id=_106394_1&content_id=_1437009_1&return_content=1… 5/5 Segunda-feira, 5 de Outubro de 2020 12h06min18s GMT-03:00 Pergunta 9 Resposta Selecionada: a. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Which sentence presents an example of the future tense? He is going to fall into that hole. Look! He is not looking ahead. He is going to fall into that hole. Look! He is not looking ahead. I am cooking beans for lunch at the moment. She is trimming the plants in the garden. He is traveling to Frankfurt at the moment. She realizes there is a problem in that question. Resposta: alternativa “a”. Comentário: A alternativa “a” se refere ao future “to be going to”, em que há evidências de que algo vai ocorrer. As demais alternativas não se referem ao futuro. As alternativas “b”, “c” e “d” são exemplos de Present Continuous, que se referem a ações que ocorrem no momento e não a eventos futuros. E a alternativa “e” emprega o Simple Present, que não está relacionado, no caso, a fatos futuros. Pergunta 10 Resposta Selecionada: c. Respostas: a. b. c. d. e. Feedback da resposta: Which sentence shows the Simple Present referring to the future? Mark the right alternative: He leaves for Europe within half an hour. She gets up at 5 every day. They play soccer on Sunday mornings. He leaves for Europe within half an hour. He studies Math only on the weekends. I am doing my homework right now. Resposta: alternativa “c”. Comentário: Nas sentenças “a”, “b” e “d”, o Simple Present está sendo usado para se referir a atividades de rotina. Na alternativa “e”, o tempo verbal empregado é o Present Continuous e não o Simple Present, o que invalida a resposta, pois não atende ao enunciado. Portanto, a única sentença que emprega o Simple Present para se referir ao futuro é a “c”, em que se diz: “He leaves for Europe within half an hour”. ← OK 0,3 em 0,3 pontos 0,3 em 0,3 pontos javascript:launch('/webapps/blackboard/content/listContent.jsp?content_id=_1433442_1&course_id=_106394_1&nolaunch_after_review=true');
