imVision Controller
Default Network Settings and Configuration

imVision Controllers have two RJ45 ports located on the rear labeled A/IN and B/Out. These ports can handle Ethernet
10/100 Mbps communication as well as an alternative 485 serial communication. Their functionality is configured through
the Push ONPush ONPush ONPush ON button next to each of them and will depend on the position of the Controller in the controller LAN.

By default both Push ON buttons come in the “out” position. This configures both ports for “Controller LAN function”: this
configuration would be the one used for a controller that is in the middle of a controller LAN (not in the first or last
positions).
If a Controller is in the last position, its Port B should be set to “pushed in” and the port will be left unused.
If a Controller is in position 1 it will take the Network Manager function and its Port A needs to be connected to the
customer LAN and configured as follows:
a) Set the push-on switch for Port A to the pushed pushed pushed pushed inininin position
b) On the controller screen, go to Home Home Home Home ----> Settings > Settings > Settings > Settings ----> > > > NetworkNetworkNetworkNetwork SettingsSettingsSettingsSettings
The Network function is set to Disabled by default. Change to Network = EthernetNetwork = EthernetNetwork = EthernetNetwork = Ethernet
