FMC Energy Systems is the world’s leading
supplier of manifold packages for high-pressure
production, injection, and launcher/receiver applica-
tions. Backed by over 30 years of experience on
hundreds of projects worldwide, FMC Energy
Systems delivers compact, lightweight manifold
systems in sizes, designs, and materials to meet all
customer and industry requirements. By packaging
and delivering manifold systems on a turnkey basis,
FMC Energy Systems is helping customers efficiently
meet technical and economic challenges for high-
pressure manifold applications. From project inception
to installation and after-sales service, FMC Energy
Systems provides single-source responsibility for your
complete project.
1
Manifold Systems
FMC Energy Systems is
an integrated supplier of turnkey
manifold systems for the oil and gas
industry. By combining system engi-
neering, project management, a unique
design, and the global presence of a
major oil services company, FMC
Energy Systems is able to offer signi-
ficant cost reductions to operators
working in demanding environments.
These benefits are especially true
for offshore and floating production
projects where weight, space, and
offshore hookup play important roles in
overall costs. A major operator recently
estimated there is a $7-10 savings in
capital cost for every pound reduction
in offshore weight. Offshore and ship-
yard hookups can also be expensive
when the manifolds remain in the
critical path for installation and pres-
sure test.
The FMC Energy Systems offering
addresses these and other logistics
issues with an innovative design that
reduces manifold system weight and
space up to 60%. By designing skid
and deck-based systems, FMC Energy
Systems eliminates the need for
pressure testing and welding at site,
reducing installation times and sched-
ule risk.
The “Heart” of the System
FMC Energy Systems manufac-
tures a full line of compact ball, check,
and diverter valves that are unsur-
passed in ease of operation, reliability,
and maintenance. These products are
field proven in critical services up to
10,000 psi and exotic trims. All of this
capability is combined in a compact,
lightweight design that achieves weight
savings of up to 60% versus conven-
tional valves. The complete range of
FMC Energy Systems’ products are
manufactured in ISO-9001 certified
facilities with headquarters in the
United States.
Building Block Design
FMC Energy Systems’ exclusive
building block design eliminates the
need for welding of manifold compo-
nents. The system utilizes integral
tees, crosses, and spools in combina-
tion with compact manifold compo-
nents to reduce problems caused by
alignment. The building block design
also allows future system capabilities
to be added at site with minimal
disruption to production.
Project Management
At FMC Energy Systems, every
system begins with the assignment of
a project management team. The team
has the turnkey responsibility for
supplying the full scope of the system
from the engineering design through
the installation service.
The FMC Energy Systems project
management team is also responsible
for managing all interfaces between
the manifold and associated equip-
ment. Scope may include instrumenta-
tion, safety, and fire systems as well
as interconnect piping. A single point
contact allows the customer to reduce
the interface risk associated with
dealing with several suppliers.
FMC Energy Systems’ project
management and reporting proce-
dures have been developed with the
needs of customers and certification
authorities in mind.
System Engineering
The earlier FMC Energy Systems’
engineering team is involved in your
project, the greater the opportunity for
overall project cost reduction. Using
supplied piping and instrumentation
diagrams, FMC Energy Systems
engineers will design a cost-effective
solution to your manifolding needs.
This effort is often done with FMC
Energy Systems’ engineers working
within the customers project team.
Weight, space, interface, and installa-
tion problems can be identified and
addressed early in a project allowing
for optimized design of the structure
and reduced project cost.
FMC Energy Systems’ engineering
capabilities include structural, piping,
electrical, and instrumentation design.
Dedicated R&D personnel – using
state-of-the-art testing facilities – also
develop new products to meet the
particular manifolding needs of the
industry.
Worldwide Presence
From installation assistance to
preventive maintenance, FMC Energy
Systems is committed to meeting
customer needs worldwide. Service of
your manifold systems is as close as
the nearest FMC Energy Systems
service center.

Other Manifold Valves
Throttle Ball Valves
“The valve that lets you choose
exactly the flow you need.”
1- to 4-inch sizes / 2,220 to 10,000 psi
25 to 100 mm nominal sizes / 150 to 700 Bar
Throttle Ball Valves are
designed to meet the
demands of virtually all
throttling applications. The
flow passage is engineered
specifically for high-
pressure drop throttling
service with precise control
throughout the operating
range. These world proven
valves incorporate many of
the features and benefits of
FMC Energy Systems’
industry leading ball
valves, including its
compact size and
low weight.
Advantages
• Delivers higher linear flow
rates than any equivalent
positive choke
• Flow indicator for precise
flow control
• Ball design enables precise
throttling with minimum
erosion resistance
Poppet Diverter Valves
“The efficient way to change flow from
production to test.”
2- to 6-inch sizes / 2,220 to 6,170 psi
50 to 150 mm nominal sizes / 150 to 420 Bar
Poppet Diverter Valves are
a simple and economical
way to change flow from
one outlet to another. These
reliable three-way valves
shut off flow to one line and
at the same time open flow
to another line.
A single valve
does all the flow-
change work in a
production
manifold station,
eliminating wear
on the other valves
in the system.
Ball Diverter Valves
“Compact valve reliably diverts flow
in high-pressure applications.”
1- to 6-inch sizes / 2,220 to 6,170 psi
25 to 150 mm nominal sizes / 150 to 420 Bar
Advantages
• Cross-porting through ball
prevents complete shut off
during rotation of ball
• Seal material provides low
turning torque and high
wear resistance to abrasive
fluids
• Extra large ball-to-seat
contact area promotes
positive sealing and
distributes loads for
reduced wear and longer
service

proven way to divert flow
from one outlet to another.
These compact three-way
valves reliably shut off flow
to one line while opening

manifold station, eliminating
wear on the other valves in
the system.

*Weights are with end fittings.
Valves can be equpped with swivel flanges, weld neck flanges, threaded, socket weld, flanged, and other end connections.
The "C" dimensions are for nominal pipe thread sizes.
Standard check valve bodies are fire safe certified. Drill through designs (i.e. C1561 and C2037) are not fire safe unless equipped with
Belleville washers installed under the nuts.
Special valves available to meet many requirements.
Valve should be
located on "small end"
of ball valve body for
maintenance.
Position check for
desired flow location.

Dimensions and weights are the same as comparable Ball Valves (i.e. BV0861 is the same as B0861).
This table is useful in determining which Throttle Ball Valve is appropriate for your application.
Maximum pressure differential is 2,500 psi.
Size flowrate for minimum 20% opening.
Reduced orifices are available for special applications.
"B" dimension is equivalent to seat diameter for test port.
