To build curved walls and ceilings with Durlock® plates, you will need to follow these steps: 1. For curved walls: - Build a structure using hot-dip galvanized steel sheet profiles with curved Soleras. - Make V-shaped cuts every 5 or 10 cm on one wing of the Solera profiles and corresponding cuts on the profile's soul. - Place the Montantes with a determined separation, depending on the wall's curvature radius. - Fix Durlock® plates of 12.5 mm thickness horizontally on this structure using T2 screws with a separation of 15 or 20 cm. - Depending on the wall's curvature radius, you can use dry or moist plates on the tractioned face. 2. For curved ceilings: - Materialize the main beams using curved ribs armed with a curved Solera profile plated on one of its faces. - Make V-shaped cuts on the profile's wings every 5 or 10 cm to curve the Solera. - Place the main beams with a maximum separation of 1.20 m and suspend them from the slab through rigid candles materialized with Montante profiles placed every 1.00 m at most. - Below the main beams, place the Montante profiles with a determined separation, depending on the ceiling's curvature radius. - Fix Durlock® plates, preferably 9.5 mm thick, transversely to the Montantes using T2 screws with a separation of 15 or 20 cm. - Depending on the ceiling's curvature radius, you can use dry or moist plates on the tractioned face. Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and guidelines for the specific Durlock® products you are using.
