Complete the verse and see who are the people who hear the voice of the Lord: “My ______ hear my _____; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27. Are you a sheep of the Lord? Have you heard His voice and followed Him? Do not waste any more time, like Samuel have attentive ears to the voice of the Lord. DECIDING: Mark at least two alternatives and be faithful. ( ) I decide that I will listen to the advice of my leaders; ( ) I decide that from now on, I will plan and take _____ (put the time) of my day to talk to God in prayer for 7 days. ( ) I decide that I will plan and take ________ (put the time) to dedicate myself more to my meditation. SHARING: Often it is not easy to constantly listen and obey the Word of God. At this moment, turn off the TV, take off your headphones, turn off your cell phone and make a sincere prayer to God, talk about your failures and ask for strength to be able to hear His voice and above all, obey Him. Tuesday: A teenage leader. UNDERSTANDING: Mark the correct option: ( ) I cannot be an example since I am very young; ( ) Even being young, I can be an example of a Christian. Correctly relate the areas in which you should be an example with their respective synonyms (same meaning): 1. In the word ( ) My conviction and firmness in the ways of Christ. 2. In the procedure ( ) My behavior wherever I am. 3. In love ( ) My life in holiness, away from immorality. 4. In faith ( ) Everything I say (comments, conversations...) 5. In purity ( ) My affection, compassion, and good treatment of others. The fact that you are a teenager does not mean that you should live in any way and inconsequently, but that your life from now on can and should be an example to others. In this verse, Paul encouraged Timothy, who was very young, to be an example to people, and so he also encourages you from adolescence to make a difference in this world. MEMORIZING: Already be an example by memorizing the word of God. TAKING THE LESSON: At the time Samuel was born, the nation of Israel was in decline and people no longer wanted to serve God, they were far from their Creator. Israel needed a young and pious leadership, who cared about the people, as Joseph was in Egypt. “In those days the Lord rarely spoke” (1 Samuel 3:1b), but the people were so far from God that the Lord needed someone to speak of Him, so He called Samuel to be His messenger. This is the same will of God for your life, teenager, that you be an instrument of God in people's lives. Every teenager can be a new Samuel, and that is why God called you to make a difference in this world, to be used to bring His message of love and salvation to people. But how to be an example to others and make a difference? See some important principles for this: 1) Make a difference. It is to live as a child of God, showing that Jesus lives in you, with attitudes that please Him. Read Matthew 5:13-16 and answer: You as a Christian are compared to 02 elements. Which ones? __________ and __________ Who should be glorified by your good works? ______________________ “Do not let anyone despise you for being young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” I Timothy 4:12 2) Do not conform to this world. It means that you should not love and imitate the things of this world. Do not accept wrong standards in your life (immorality, violence, dishonesty, coldness of love, disobedience). Be different from worldly standards, your standard to follow is Christ. Read Romans 12:1-2 to complete: “Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the _______ of your mind, so that you may experience the ______, _____
