A diferença entre um termoplástico e um termofixo é que o termoplástico pode ser amolecido e remoldado várias vezes, enquanto o termofixo não pode ser remoldado depois de ter sido moldado. O termoplástico é um polímero linear, enquanto o termofixo é um polímero tridimensional.
