Classificação de Thornthwaite: leva em consideração a evapotranspiração potencial e a umidade do solo. 3. Classificação de Bergeron: é baseada na temperatura e na umidade relativa do ar. 4. Classificação de Strahler: leva em conta a temperatura e a precipitação. 5. Classificação de Trewartha: é uma combinação da classificação de Köppen e da classificação de Thornthwaite.
