A disciplina de História estuda o passado da humanidade, desde as sociedades mais antigas até os dias atuais. Durante as aulas, os alunos aprendem sobre os acontecimentos históricos, as transformações sociais, políticas, econômicas e culturais que ocorreram ao longo do tempo e as diferentes formas de organização das sociedades. A disciplina é importante para compreendermos o presente e projetarmos o futuro, além de nos ajudar a desenvolver o senso crítico e a capacidade de análise e interpretação de fatos históricos. O conhecimento em História é fundamental para a formação de cidadãos conscientes e críticos, capazes de compreender e atuar na sociedade em que vivem.
