The distinguishing characteristics of the AEVC/ADVC short 
stroke series are its extremely small dimensions in relation to 
the piston 
diameter. The main focus is on size optimisation, in particular 
with regard to height. 
- The new series replaces our old, incomplete and confusing 
range of short stroke cylinders (AV/AV-A; AV-B, AV-C, 
AVL/AVL-A, 
ADV/ADV-A).
- The new series is not aimed to replace our existing 
AEVU/ADVU series of compact cylinders! It is to be 
introduced in the market, with 
the emphasis on „short strokes„.
Strengths:
- Competitive, complete range of ø4 to ø100mm with strokes 
up to 25mm
- Choice of internal or external threads
- All cylinders with and without sensing (except: ø6 mm)
- USP: From ø32mm, two sensor slots (choice of SMx-8/SMx-
10-switch)
- New piston arrangements (with riveted piston), improved 
low-friction
- Improved cushioning characteristics in end position 
compared to previous series
- From ø32mm VDMA hole pattern, all other ø compatible for 
exchange with existing series, insofar as technically possible 
(see 
cross-reference list)
- Long service life
- Standardised type designation
- Standardised design
No facility for sensing, piston-rod
