Professor Thiago English Aula 02: Some and Any Some é usado para expressar o sentido de algum, alguns, alguma ou algumas, tanto para substantivos contáveis quanto para incontáveis no modo afirmativo e no modo interrogativo para pedir ou oferecer algo. Modo afirmativo: I have some books. (Eu tenho alguns livros) Modo interrogativo: Oferecendo = Would you like some coffee? (Você gostaria de algum café?) Pedindo = Can you lend me some money? (Você pode me emprestar algum dinheiro?) Modo negativo: I don’t have any money. (Eu não tenho nenhum dinheiro) Modo interrogativo: Is there any ice in the fridge? (Tem algum gelo na geladeira?) Did they make any mistakes? (Eles cometeram alguns erros?) Observe as 3 frases a seguir: 1- There isn’t any ice in the fridge. (Não há nenhum gelo na geladeira) Any é usado junto com uma partícula negativa: “is not any / isn’t any”. 2- There is no ice in the fridge. (Não há nenhum gelo na geladeira) NO é a própria partícula negativa: “no + substantivo = no ice”. 3- Is there any ice in the fridge? None! = No ice . (Tem algum gelo na geladeira? Nada! = Nenhum gelo.
