TYPES OF TEXTS (NARRATIVE ESSAY)

At a family lunch, I was talking to my grandmother and she told me about one
time that she took a ship trip, at the time it seemed to be something cool. Like all
rebellious teenagers I wasn't paying much attention at first until I heard her talking
about a guy.
My 86-year-old grandmother was recounting a flirtation that happened when
she was 23. When she was in the boarding line she saw a handsome guy who wore
aviator sunglasses (the only detail she gave), she said she was “blushing” right away
and for two days she hadn't seen him again.
Walking on the deck on a normal day he bumps into the man with the aviator
glasses and asks him for an ice cream, my aunts always said that grandma was
naughty. She thought that she would find the love of her life and to her surprise and
everyone who hears this story, the young man was committed and not only that, he
was “married” to another man. Today the mysterious man with the aviator glasses
attends our Sunday lunches and I knew him as Uncle Tião, a dear friend of the
family. Life and its purposes, isn't it!?
