Think of your academic, professional and/or personal life. In your context, chances are you need to communicate in English; otherwise, you would not even be takin this course, right? So, when it comes to English language learning, you may need to read.
 
How important is reading in English to you?
Very important
Why so?
In the context of my work, the best content, almost entirely, is in the English language.
Software development tools, technical books and articles, almost always videos and examples.
What do you usually read?
Books, articles, forums and often technical manuals
What kinds of reading strategies and techniques are useful to you?
Use translation and automatic text reading tools to learn pronunciation. Read in quiet environments and using headphones while listening to music.
Even with music playing, I manage to disconnect from everything and just focus on reading.
Which ones are not?
Read in busy environments.
