<p>Hi. Good morning! Nice to meet you.</p><p>My name is Maressa, I'm 28 years old and I started my master's degree this year. I'm a chemical engineer and during college I participated in research projecta junior company and did a scientific initiation, where and I worked in the area of ​​drying Thai limes.</p><p>In my scientific initiation, I selected lemons from producers in the region where I studied and performed laboratory tests on 2 parts of the lemon, segment and peel, measuring the weight for 20 minutes until the sample reached a constant mass. The samples were placed in an oven at 105ºC for a period of 24 hours to determine the dry mass. This experimental procedure was performed in triplicate for temperatures of 40°C, 55°C and 70°C. The objective was to find out what the best temperature was for drying, since it is widely consumed in Brazil and has a high export rate of the dried product.</p><p>I worked at two companies. As for my experience in companies, I did an internshipwas an intern at MSD Animal Health for 1 year and 2 months in the pharmaceutical compounding sector, monitoring the production of veterinary products and monitoring the filtration of the product for bottling.</p><p>After that, I passed was approved in the Leaders of the Future program at Raízen, where I went to the Automotive Maintenance area and spent 1 year and 5 months working with 5S, auditing, kanban, lean methodology and employee training.</p><p>However, I wasn't happy, although the salary was very good, I missed the laboratory routine and the chemical engineering area., and being in the area, and that's how I decided to return to academia University to complete get my master's degree.</p>
