It is necessary to use maten'als and employ processing methods that are best suited lor particular objectives or existing conditions, Paper models can be used as presentation models il processed by adequate linishing methods to create image models or rough mock.up models (study models). In addition, paper models haue superior machinability as comparecl whith other model materiais, and do not need any special equipment or tools. Paper models excel any other model materiais in the speed and ease oi the Pl'Oduction. They do not stain you-r hands. They are so light th.at the)' can be carried anywhere with no limitation as to the places zuhere designers can get together and discuss with the models visualized in Iront oi them. DesjJite all tlzese advantages that 'paper models can o/fer, there is oue point in which paper models are weak. lt is a modeling work oi lhree, dimentional curvature such as a combination oi multiple Rs, which can easily be handled by clay modeling, but poses some dilliculties to paper modeling.
