GOING TO
I am going to do something = I have already decided to do it, I intend to do it:
. A: Are you going to watch the late film on TV tonight?
 B: No, I’m going to sleep.
. A: I hear Sara has won some money. What is she going to do with it?
 B: She is going to buy a new car.
. I’m just going to make a quick phone call. Can you wait for me?
. This cheese looks horrible. I’m not going to eat it.
I am doing and I am going to do
We use I am doing (present continuous) when we say what we have arranged to do – for example, arranged to meet somebody, arranged to go somewhere:
. What time are you meeting Ann this evening?
. I’m leaving tomorrow. I’ve got my plane ticket.
I am going to do something = I’ve decided to do it (but perhaps not arranged to do it:
A: Your shoes are dirty.
B: Yes, I know. I’m going to clean them. (=I’ve decided to clean them, but I haven’t arranged to clean them.)
I’ve decided not to stay here any longer. Tomorrow I’m going to look for somewhere else to stay
You can also say that something is going to happen in the future. For example:
The man can’t see the wall in front of him. He is going to walk into the wall.
When we say that something is going to happen, the (context) situation makes this clear. The man is walking towards the wall now, so we can see that he is going to walk into it.

WILL
A expressão will é usada geralmente para indicar incerteza. Neste caso é acompanhado de expressões como I think, Maybe, Probably, que indicam que a pessoa até tem intenção de fazer algo, porém não tem certeza de que poderá/conseguirá fazê-lo.
Pode-se contrair o will adicionando-se ‘ll  após o sujeito (I’ll, You’ll, He’ll, etc).
Para a forma negativa, acrescenta-se not após will, e a sua contração passa a ser won’t.
Veja alguns exemplos:
I think I will go out  with Diana tonight.
(A pessoa quer sair com a Diana hoje à noite, porém não sabe se poderá, ou ainda se ela irá querer);
Maybe  Sarah will visit her mother next weekend;
Podemos usar o will também quando alguém quer se oferecer para fazer algo ou ainda para decisões tomadas na hora. Veja:
“It’s cold here!”
“Don’t worry, I’ll close the window.”  (Aqui seria um diálogo. A primeira pessoa está reclamando do frio e a segunda se oferece para fechar a janela);
It’s a good idea. I will go to the movies tomorrow. (Alguém sugeriu à pessoa que ela fosse ao cinema e ela gostou da ideia e decidiu na hora fazer isso)
