My name is Rebeca, I have a story that today looks funny, but the day I lived, it was a hard time.
When I was 39 weeks pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I spent a weekend in a country house, so that we could enjoy the last few days just the two of us. Packing my bags, I started to feel very light contractions, thinking it was not yet time, but my husband wanted to take me to the nearest hospital to be sure.
So we got the car and drove away, on the way the contractions started to get stronger and stronger, and there I realized I was in labor.
And it started to rain a lot and we couldn't go fast, because the road was very dangerous. I started to get nervous and more and more in pain.
Until the car started to fail and I wouldn't start it anymore, I was desperate and started to cry, my husband tried to call the ambulance over and over again, but without success the road sign was very bad.
My contractions started to get stronger and I felt something coming out of me. My husband managed to get a signal and managed to order an ambulance, but he would arrive only after 1 hour, as the road was blocked by the heavy rain.
He remembered that he had a doctor friend and tried to call him, luckily he answered and we asked for help on how to deliver a baby.
The Doctor instructed my husband to lie down on the car seat, and try to clean his hands with water, and if he had alcohol too. He asked to cover the car with towels and get one, to wait for our girl to wait. And he asked me to start pushing and pushing, I pushed hard and my Victory came into the world. My husband held our daughter and she was born super healthy.
At that moment the ambulance arrived, and gave all the necessary assistance and we went to the hospital.
