O subteste Dígitos do WISC IV é aplicado em duas partes. Na primeira parte, o examinando deve repetir na mesma ordem os números verbalizados pelo examinador (ordem direta 1,2,3,4,5). Na segunda parte, é realizada outra bateria em que a repetição dos dígitos deve ser feita na ordem inversa (5,4,3,2,1). As habilidades avaliadas são: na primeira parte (ordem direta) a memória de curto prazo (MCP). Na segunda parte (ordem inversa) a memória de curto prazo (MCP) e a memória de trabalho (MT).
