De acordo com as diretrizes da ACLS, a administração de medicamentos durante uma parada cardíaca deve ser feita como uma injeção em bolus, sem diluição. Não é recomendado elevar o membro após a administração de medicamentos e não é necessário lavar o local com soro fisiológico após a administração.
