Henrique Santillo was the governor of the state of Goiás, Brazil, from 1991 to 1994. During his government, he implemented an ambitious development program, but gave priority to the Health and Sanitation areas. The construction of HUGO - Emergency Hospital of Goiânia was his main administrative achievement. However, when he left the State government, the salary of civil servants was more than 100 days late. Another relevant fact during his government was the liquidation of CAIXEGO, a state-owned bank.
