Present Perfect Continuous
The Present Perfect Continuous has two ways to be used. It indicates a continuous action that has been finished at some point in the past or that was initiated in the past and continues to happen.
Veja como o “ Present Perfect Continuous” é formado:
Subject + the present perfect of the verb 'to be'(have/has been) + the present participle of the main verb (base+ing)
Examples: 
→ He has been walking. 
→ You have been sleeping. 
→ You haven't been dancing with her. 
→ Have you waiting for a long time? 
#1 Some action that started in the past and continue until now:
Expressions that can be used:
 For ten minutes. 
 For one hour. 
 Since Monday. 
 Since Saturday
My mother has been waiting for five hours. (and she's still waiting now)
They have been working on this book since six o'clock this morning. (= and they still working on it now).
My family have been camping since last July. (and they're not home yet).
What have you been doing since morning? 
I have been teaching at that school since August.
#2 Some action that have just finished recently
We can also use the Present Perfect Continuous to show an action without saying the exactly duration of it.
Expression that can be used:
 For weeks 
 Lately 
 Recently 
Just now
Examples: 
	I've been cooking for you since last night 
	She has been cleaning the house. (and the floor is still wet).
	Someone has been drinking my Coke. (much of it is gone)
	Recently, she has been feeling very happy!
	They have been playing too much video game lately.
Practice:
Choose the correct alternative that presents the Present Perfect Continuous’ structure:
Alice is reading books for the next test. She started two hours ago:
a) Alice has read books for the test.
b) Alice has been reading books for the test.
c) Alice has been read books for the test.
d) Alice has reading books for the test.
Make Present Perfect Continuous affirmative sentences:
a) I/ read all day.
b) They/ listen to music rarely.
c) We/ learn French for three years.
d) it/ snow the trees are wet.
1.  Fill in the blanks using: have / has + been + present participle 
a) (wear) Their daughter __________ lipstick since she was fifteen.
b) (rain) It __________ cats and dogs for three days now.
c) (take) I __________ care of my brother’s dogs while his away. (feed) I __________ them twice a day.

Exemplo: (have) She hasn’t been having much luck in her new job.
