1. How to access MinhaUFMG 
After you have been enrolled and gotten a register number, you may access the university 
wi-fi. First, students must register at MinhaUFMG – an online platform used for multiple 
activities such as contact between students and teachers, access to computer labs and wi-
wi. After that, the student will need to send an e-mail to suporte@dti.ufmg.br and ask 
access to MinhaUFMG platform, you will have to e-mail them informing your 
registration number and sending digitalized document. Alternatively, the student might 
go to ICEX (Instituto de Ciências Exatas) building, room 2040 (2nd floor) holding the the 
same documents (passport an registration number). 
For international visitors other than students, the professor or coordinator of the activities 
will have to access MinhaUFMG and register you as a guest. 
Another option for wi-fi access without a MinhaUfmg login is to connect to Eduroam 
(link: http://www.redesemfio.ufmg.br/eduroam/), this is only possible if your university 
is also part of the Eduroam network.
