Among the writers that marked the Renaissance Period of the English literature, poet Edmund Spenser 
appears as a non-dramatic name related to the Elizabethan Ages. During the years of studies, he gets 
influenced by Puritanism and Nationalism ideals, which leads him to desire to produce great English 
literature, even compared to the levels of Homere and Virgilio, in Latin. Write a short text in English where 
you EXPLAIN HOW "THE FAERIE QUEEN" CLASSIFIES IN THE RENAISSANCE PERIOD OF 
ENGLISH LITERATURE.

The Faerie Queene is a poem where the author explores a profusion of themes: patriotism, refined
education, chivalry, and noble ideals.
The themes explore the human virtues, such as love, faith, and friendship, in the form of allegories to a
proper representative. Gloriana is the queen of the virtues but also represents Queen Elisabeth to whom
the author addresses in the text.
During the Renaissance, the focus of literature was no longer religion as in the medieval religious
production but rather devoted to the new: new styles, new subjects, new forms of writing.
Queen Elisabeth I is at the base of a golden era in the History of England. British literature followed
this profusion in creativity that appears in the various thematics of Spenser.

The renaissance period means being born again in cultural, artistic, religious and political terms,
questioningpower and authority in search of freedom where man occupies the center of attention. The
classic "The Faerie Queene" deals virtues such as love, faith, friendship, among others, thus
cahracterizing a Renaissance work.

written literature. Harry Potter is the masterpiece of the British author Jo K. Rowling, an ordinary person 
from the people whose aspiration was always to become a writer. 
Now that you know this, write a text in English where you relate the character of Harry Potter to the 
increasing in reading books that was observed after its appearance.

J. K. Rowling has got inspiration for her character Harry Potter during a train trip where she observed
people and landscapes. The stories involve witches and witchcraft, thematics that are of great interest
for children and teens. Thas the reason why her first story, even if it was rejected by 12 editors before
finally being published, has got such a huge success among her public. A series of stories followed the

The Harry Potter saga narrates the adventure of a young wizard and his friends at Hogwarts school of
wichcraf and wizardry, which ,after the release of the first book, the sucess of the series only increased,
there were several translations where children and teenagers are enchanted by the stories, taking
pleasure in reading.
