OPHELIA LOVES HER MOTHER.
• Ophelia, 9 years old, played all day in the 
snow today. It was a Sunday afternoon and 
she didn’t have school. When she got back 
home, she was still feeling very cold. It’s 
January and the weather outside is far from 
being warm. To warm her up, her mom 
decided to cook hot chocolate. She used real 
cacao, hot milk and boiling water. Ophelia 
loves how her mother makes hot chocolate 
because she always adds a secret ingredient. 
She isn’t quite sure what it is, but she knows 
it’s very tasty and it makes a huge difference. 
Actually, it’s very simple: it’s only a couple of 
tiny marshmallows which melt in the hot 
beverage.
OPHELIA AMA A MÃE DELA.
• Ophelia, 9 anos, brincou o dia inteiro na neve 
hoje. Era um domingo à tarde e ela não tinha 
escola. Quando voltou para casa, sentia-se 
ainda muito fria. É janeiro e o tempo fora está 
longe de ser quente. Para aquecê-la, sua mãe 
decidiu fazer chocolate quente. Ela usava 
cacau, leite quente e água fervente. Ophelia
ama como sua mãe faz chocolate quente 
porque ela sempre adiciona um ingrediente 
secreto. Ela não tem certeza do que é, mas 
ela sabe que é muito saboroso e faz uma 
enorme diferença. Na verdade, é muito 
simples: é apenas um par de pequenos 
marshmallows que derrete na bebida quente.
