Julie: Ei Michael, eu estou cansada. Você se importaria em dirigir um pouco?
Hey Michael, I’m tired. Would you mind driving for a while?
Michael: Lamento eu adoraria mas eu não sei como dirigir.
Sorry. I would like to, but I don’t know how to drive.
Julie: Mesmo? Você não tem carteira? Eu pensei que todo mundo tivesse carteira.
Really? You don’t have a license? I thought everyone had a license.
Michael: Não eu viví em cidades por toda minha vida e quando eu estou em casa eu geralmente pego metrô ou ônibus.
No, I’ve lived in cities all my life and when I’m at home I usually take the subway or bus.
Julie: Sei. Você acho que vai aprender a dirigir no futuro?
I see. Do you think you’ll learn to drive in the future?
Michael: Sim. Eu planejo comprar um carro no ano que vem. Eu acho que você precisa de um carro nos EUA.
Yes. I plan to buy a car next year. I think you need one in the U.S.
Julie: De fato, aagora pensando sobre isso, muitas pessoas nas cidades também pegam ônibus.
Actually, now that I think about it, a lot of people in cities here take the bus also.
Michael: Bem, eu gostaria de viajar mais. Eu já estou aqui há alguns anos e eu sinto que ainda não ví muito.

Michael: Não, eu não quero problemas pra você. Eu já me inscreví numa classe perto da minha casa. Começo no mês que vem.
No, I wouldn’t want to trouble you. I’ve already signed up for a class near my house. It starts next month.
