Your assignment is to design a block-making machine with the capacity for producing 600 blocks per day at a capital cost of less than $300. Develop a needs analysis, a definitive problem statement, and a plan for the information that will be needed to complete the design. For this we need to design a block making machine with the capacity for producing 600 blocks per day at a capital cost of less than $300. It means we need to develop a block making machine with good productivity and minimum cost. Step 3 of 6 ii. Collecting information regarding problem To develop a block making machine, second step is to gather a information regarding block making machine such how much blocks we want to produce in a day, how much material is required to create a block, availability of the raw material, storage of raw material and final product as well, installation of machine, power required for machine etc. Step 4 of 6 iii. Defining alternative methods After gathering all information regarding block making machine, we need to generate alternative solution for problem. Step 5 of 6 iv. Implementation of alternative methods In this step, alternative plan is executed and final decision making is carried out. In this step from all the information, design of block making machine is developed and some analysis is carried out. Also prototype of the block making machine is generated and tests are carried out.
