Use com rotinas ou hábitos E.g. I wake up at 7 a.m.
Use com fatos ou verdades
universais
E.g. The sun is hot
Use com gostos e preferências E.g. She likes pizza.
Horários fixos E.g. The class starts at 8.
PALAVRAS COMUNS
Always Never

Sometimes Normally

REGRAS DO SIMPLE PRESENT
Adiciona-se um “s” ao verbo na
terceira pessoa
Se o verbo for conjugado na
terceira pessoa, ele deve
terminar em “s” na forma
afirmativa. 
E.g. I drink water / She drinks
water
Verbos terminados em em
consoante + y
Se o verbo termina em “y” e
precedido por consoante,
retiramos o “y” e usamos “ies”. 
E.g. I study English / She studies
English
Verbos terminados em SS, SH,
CH, Z, X e O
Se o verbo for conjugado na
terceira pessoa, ele deve
terminar em “es” na forma
afirmativa.
E.g. I go home / She goes home

(consoante + vogal +
consoante)
Dobramos a última consoante
e adicionamos “-ing”
To swim
E.g. I am swimming
Verbos terminados em “ie”
Substituimos o “ie “ por um “y”
e adicionamos o “-ing”
To lie down
E.g. I am lying down
Verbos terminados em “e” Substituimos o “e” por “-ing”
To write
E.g. She is writing
